A true slow-cooking cut — rich, gelatinous and full of deep beef flavour. Oxtail rewards patience: brown the pieces well, then braise covered at 160°C for three to four hours until the meat falls away from the bone and the sauce thickens naturally. Ideal for hearty winter stews, slow-cooked ragù, Caribbean-style curries and the classic oxtail soup. Gluten free. Sourced from quality Australian cattle and cut fresh daily by our butchers at Windsor Meats Malvern.
