A South African inspired spiced fruit sauce, Taka Tala brings a gentle sweetness and warmth — and it's available on its own in our pantry range. Shoulder is the right cut for this: it takes a long, slow cook and turns meltingly tender. Place into an oven tray or casserole dish and bake covered at 180°C for 1 hour 30 minutes, stirring once, then serve over steamed rice or with couscous. Gluten free.
