TASSIE TALLOW Lard 500mL

Tassie Tallow Lard is a beautifully soft cooking fat made from 100% Tasmanian pork fat. Smooth in texture with an almost nutty aroma, it is a great all-rounder in the kitchen.

Once as common as butter, lard is a traditional favourite worth rediscovering. Use it on the stovetop for sautéing vegetables, searing meat or deep-frying, thanks to its high smoke point of around 190°C, or in the oven as a shortening for pastry and baking.

Shelf life:
Best before 2 years from production.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Refrigerate after opening.
